We love this mat. I purchased one a few weeks ago for our main bathroom. This is one for the quest bathroom. Also getting on for our house at the beach. I do lift it up after showers to drain. Very easy to maintain. Its definitely non slip. I recommend.
I have a foam mattress topper that keeps scooting around, working its way off my mattress. I bought this tub mat to make the topper stay put. I put it between my topper and the mattress. Its non-slip design seems like it will keep the topper where I want it to stay.
I have a rectangular walk-in shower that occupies the same space as the bathtub that was originally in that space. The surface of the shower floor is ridged to be non-slip but the ridges have worn down in spots. This mat is large enough to cover the whole surface except for the drain area. Additionally, it has a flat surface which will firmly grip the shower floor and not move. It has adequate bottom drainage to allow the water to drain off and to facilitate rinsing out the soap and shampoo. The surface is a bit on the rough side and may feel uncomfortable to some but the slight discomfort is a fair trade for a sure grip non slip shower surface.
It doesn't dry out very quickly but it feels awesome on your feet and keeps you from slipping. I bought it for when my elderly father comes to visit as he found my shower very slippery. This is perfect!
The mat does its job very well. I am elderly and my biggest concern is falling , especially when showering. This mat is perfect !
